Understanding what universities want

As a business we are increasingly focused on creating amazing places for the talent of the future - to learn and get ready for making a difference to the world. Understanding the needs of our customer is central to Trilogy’s ethos. So, it’s been time for us to go back to school and really get to grips with what makes a world class learning environment.

Our senior team has been visiting some inspiring campuses. Recent visit have included: Cranfield University’s state of the art innovation hub MK:U; the University of the West of Scotland’s flexible and inspiring learning spaces in Glasgow; and the stunningly reimagined campus of the University of Cardiff (the gorgeous red staircase is their Spark Innovation centres, designed by our colleagues at Hawkins Brown).

We’ve also teamed up with researchers at Newcastle University’s Centre for Urban Regional Development Studies and Third Life Economics, to chart the drivers that lead universities to expand their campuses and seek bases outside of their home towns.

We’re excited to be pouring this knowledge into Republic and our newest asset, The Amp.
